Silkeborg --------> Holbæk

Ah! So much happened this week but the computers at the library in Holbæk are messed up so I might only have an hour to write today!

We ''climbed'' the tallest ''mountain'' in Denmark this week for my last district meeting in Silkeborg. It's called Himmelbjerg which means SkyMountain but as you can see it's literally a small hill. Denmark is very very flat. It was way neat though and if I don't show pictures it sounds way cooler than it actually is.

So these last seven days of Silkeborg have been intense. We had three lessons with people who told me that they were going to come to church! Vita, the one who we do service for and thinks we are the change she's waited for... Kristina the lady who I talked about last week that is super willing to learn and change... and Diana, a lady from Brazil who is very positive as well. I finally thought that out of these three I'd finally get the chance to sit next to an investigator during Silkeborg church, but none of them showed up! Super lame. I do think that these people will see major progress with the church, but unfortunately it won't be while I'm in Silkeborg.

I also got a chance to be in Laven, in my opinion the most beautiful spot in the World. They had a field of gold there, they are all over the place in Denmark... check it out.

Yellow flowers that went on forever! I'll send some more Laven Pictures in another email.

But yes, I left Silkeborg! And I have 14 months left so I thought that this sign was very appropriate.

The Work here in Holbæk is going very well. I just got here a few hours ago and unpacked with the help of my new companion Elder Enniss. He is from Riverton Utah and has been out the same amount of time as Elder Lawless (around 7 months). We have a CAR! It's absolutely fantastic, I love train rides but driving Down the Danish highway with the yellow fields and rolling hills on either side is just as great! Anyway the Ward I'm in is the biggest Ward in all of Denmark which should be fun since I'm coming from probably the smallest branch in all of Denmark. They are currently in the middle of a 100 day fast for missionary Work which means that each day for 100 days there is one member or one Family that is fasting for the Work in the Roskilde Ward to go forward. (I go to the Roskilde Ward even though I live about 30 mins North-West in Holbæk.)

So the sun is out now because it's summer and it's hardly ever dark unless we are in the Apartment! It's great. Now that I have a car and a big Ward with eating appointments I'm really gonna focus on putting that lost weight back on haha, I think I'll be back into the grind here soon and get to contact like crazy! Starting a new area is a real chance to go finding because you will have a lot of time to Work with the people that you meet at the start. I could easily see myself staying here for four transfers, but you never know!

I have a lot more to write but not too much time! I'll just use Pictures haha

Love you!

April

This is the huge church we went to while we were in Århus earlier this week. It's huge! They really put a lot of effort into the building of these churches here. Denmark used to be a really believing country. It's much more of a tradition now though.

We got to go out to a bunch of fields again to provide some service for one of our investigators who is opening his own gallery. It involved moving a lot of erotic art and fun stuff like that. It should be an interesting gallery though, this is the guy who also has come up with a 3 dimensional alphabet that can be used as a world-wide letter system. It was good to get to talk to him more and help him set up all his notes and art and crazy stuff. There is no way he would have been ready for his opening day if we hadn't helped him clean. I vacuumed up several bugs and dead moths around his exhibition and Elder Lawless found a dead mouse.
We've been making progress with our friend Vita as well, she made us some great food this week as we taught her about baptism. She still feels very good about what we are teaching her but said she wants to come to the church before she makes any big decision about anything. Well luckily Sunday was the very next day so we invited her to come and she said that it was great because she had zero plans for Sunday morning... unfortunately she didn't show up. I just for the life of me have not been able to get a single soul to show up to Silkeborg church despite all the positive lessons we've been having. The people here just do not appreciate the way that church can bless people's lives and start the week off right.

My sickness still has not gone away, and most likely I'll have to go in to the doctor for a very unfortunate procedure involving a very long camera... More on that later.
Transfers are coming up here soon for our mission, there is a decent chance I'll be leaving this beautiful little city in the middle of the country. I'm hoping for a move to Copenhagen or to the Southern border of Denmark, although a trip up north to a city called Aalborg would also be very interesting. I'll keep you updated on that as well!
Throwback time.

Keep up the work Conner and Trevin, that photoshoot isn't over!
Haha thanks to everyone that writes me, I am way proud of all you guys serving all over the world. This one is kind of a short letter but everyone out there means a lot to me, I'm trying to show the people I meet the love that I feel from all of you back home! Oh, and buy a PMG, yep think that's about it :)
